Family Promise of South Sarasota County Announces Gala Celebrating 10 Years of Impact

Family Promise of South Sarasota County (FPSSC) is thrilled to announce its inaugural gala, Sweet Dreams: A Night of Giving Gala October 11, 2025 at Planation Golf & Country Club. This milestone event will celebrate ten years of empowering families facing housing insecurity and mobilizing community compassion to create lasting change.

The evening will feature an elegant dinner, a paddle raise, heartwarming stories, and a celebration with the community and partners who have walked alongside FPSSC since its founding. The event begins at 6:00 PM, with live music by Occasions. Cocktail attire is requested. Tickets are on sale now at www.familypromisessc.org/gala.

“We are incredibly proud to celebrate ten years of service in South Sarasota County,” said Jennifer Fagenbaum, Executive Director of FPSSC. “This gala is more than a celebration—it’s a reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together to support families in crisis. We’re excited to honor the journey, the partnerships, and the lives changed.”

Since opening its doors in 2015, FPSSC has served over 1,179 families through direct services such as shelter, case management, rent assistance, and long-term support programs such as Bridge Housing and Open Doors. In 2024 alone, the organization served 139 families, 274 children and 186 adults.
All proceeds from the gala will benefit FPSSC’s programs and projects, ensuring continued support for families working toward housing stability and economic mobility.
