Children First Named as Top Workplace for Seventh Consecutive Year, Earns National Recognition for Culture and Leadership

Children First, Inc. has once again been named a top employer in the Sarasota-Manatee Top Workplaces competition, marking its seventh consecutive year of recognition for workplace excellence.

The Top Workplaces program, sponsored regionally by Energage and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, honors organizations that excel in creating exceptional workplace cultures. Awards are based exclusively on employee feedback gathered through confidential surveys measuring key drivers such as leadership, purpose and values, professional development, and overall employee well-being.

In addition to its local success, Children First has achieved significant national recognition, including being named a Top Workplaces USA winner by Energage and USA TODAY, and earning multiple Culture Excellence Awards for leadership and purpose-driven work. These honors reflect the agency’s dedication to cultivating a workplace where staff feel valued, supported, and connected to the organization’s mission.

“At the heart of our mission is the belief that by strengthening children and families, we help every individual realize their fullest potential and build a stronger, more vibrant community,”
said Philip Tavill, President & CEO of Children First. “This ongoing recognition reflects our deep commitment not only to the children and families we serve but also to the extraordinary staff who make our mission possible every day.”
