Protecting Tomorrow’s Champions: Free Youth Heart Screenings coming to Sarasota County.
North Venice, FL – May 1, 2025— The Gershfeld & Shakirov Foundation for Youth Development, in partnership with the National nonprofit Who We Play For, is bringing free lifesaving ECG heart screenings to youth athletes in Sarasota County — and they’re doing it at one of the area’s most respected athletic facilities: the Global Sports Institute (GSI) in North Venice, FL. The screening event will take place on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at GSI, located in North Venice, and is open to all GSI
